Every good parlor has house rules. Ours are simple, built around respect, enjoyment, and keeping the space welcoming for every guest who pulls up a chair.
Our shared principles
Crown & Quill Play is a social entertainment platform. That means the experience belongs to all of us. These guidelines outline what's expected of every player and what you can expect from us in return.
1. Be kind and respectful
Treat fellow players with courtesy. Disagreements are natural, but personal attacks, harassment, or hate speech have no place in the parlor. If you wouldn't say it across a card table, don't say it here.
2. Play for fun, not for funds
All games on Crown & Quill Play use virtual coins with no real-world value. There is no way to buy, sell, or cash out coins. Treat the games as entertainment, not as a source of income or a competition with stakes.
3. No real-money talk
We don't allow discussions of real-money wagering, betting strategies involving real funds, or links to external betting sites. The parlor is a real-money-free zone by design. If you're looking for that, you're in the wrong place — and we're glad you are.
4. Respect age restrictions
Crown & Quill Play is for adults 18 and over. If you're under 18, please leave and come back when you're of age. Don't misrepresent your age to bypass the verification modal.
5. No cheating or exploitation
Don't attempt to manipulate the games, exploit bugs for personal gain, or use automated tools to play on your behalf. The games are simple and fair — let's keep them that way. If you find a bug, report it to us instead.
6. Keep it clean
No offensive, explicit, or illegal content. This includes usernames (if we add them in the future), shared content, and any communication features. The parlor is a public space — keep it family-friendly within the adult context.
7. Protect your privacy and others'
Don't share personal information about yourself or others. No phone numbers, addresses, financial details, or anything that could compromise someone's safety or privacy.
8. Take care of yourself

What happens if guidelines are broken
Currently, Crown & Quill Play is a single-player experience with local progress, so enforcement is limited. However, as we add social features, these guidelines will form the basis of our moderation policy. Violations may result in warnings, feature restrictions, or removal from community features.

How we handle reports
Our concierge team reviews every report within 1-2 business days. We may follow up for additional information. We aim to be fair, consistent, and transparent in all our decisions.
Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines as the platform evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Crown & Quill Play after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
